Can you stand on your head part 3

I had coloured the cool stand on his head Ches (a Rick St. Dennis digi)  and then had a little experiment with him. Because my "online art teacher" had shown me a very cool idea.

It didn't work out the way it should have.....The idea was very awesome but I just couldn't make it work the right way. .....well at least I tried .....just need al LOT more practice.......LOL.

anyway I now had a failed experimental coloured image that I didn't want to throw away, so made a tag with it and hope you will still like it a little bit......

B.t.w., the senti didn't turn out so well either, didn't have a white pen that was able to write on the tag so I used a glaze pen, which will dry white but has clear ink when you write, so you can't see what you are writing......

some more Valentine gifts

these are very easy, just bought products and decorated them a bit

first rose soapies , the only thing I did was adding the tag with the Valentine hat lady (ok I did colour her and made the tag using a Marianne Design die).

the Valentine hat lady is a Rick St. Dennis MFA digi and you can find the shop here

I will enter the soapies in the following challenges:

http://thesquirrelandthefox.blogspot.nl/2013/01/challenge-35-anything-goes.html

the other project is a bottle, this is a champagne like wine from Portugal and the bottle was allready pink and had the Sexy on it. It just asked for some more bling.  I added Eve, this sexy lady is another Rick St Dennis Digi.

I made Eve a label using a die and added a little Love potion label to the bottle, then put on some bling and here it is a Sexy bottle  LOL

the wine can be found here

I will enter the pink bottle in the following challenges:

Dragons Dream TIO # 133 While Dragons Dream

this fortnights recipe from Dragons Dream TIO's  challenge is called "While Dragons Dream"  and you are to use Mythical animal(s), a night sky and a clear moon. The most important rules are, it has to be a tag and it has to have at least 1 real stamp on it.

Now this was a bit of a challenge, cause I don't have any Mythical animals, wel not in rubber anyway, do have them as digi, but wanted to play with my real stamps for a change.

The moon was no problem and neither was the night sky, but the Mythical animal I had to create myself, took a horse stamp and wings and put them togehter et voila, there we have a Pegasus.

Hope you like it and hope to see all your wonderfull tags in the challenge

Snow globe

another Valentine project, I made a snow globe using a Rick St. Dennis MFA digi

below the pics you will find how I made it (Also see Rick's blog for more details and ideas)

you will need a jar, glitter, ribbon, liquid glycerin, distilled water, a glue gun, laminator, some decoration

first clean the jar and the lid

I first coloured the cupid and cut him out (use some sturdier paper to print the digi on)

then laminated him to make the digi waterproof and cut out again (you have to make sure to cut around the image in a way that keeps it sealed in the plastic)

glue the laminated digi to the inside of the lid using glue gun and add some decoration, I used hearts and silk roses.  (make sure you can still put the lid on the jar when everything is glued on)

put some glitter in the jar and fill with distilled water and add some liquid glycerin so the glitter won't drop to the bottom immediately but will float a bit

put the lid on the jar and check if it is waterproof, to be sure you can use the glue gun to glue the lid on the jar to make it waterproof if it is still leaking

glue some ribbon around the edge of the lid

Valentine gift

Maybe a bit early but I made a Valentine gift using a Rick St. Dennis MFA digi. It's not to difficult to make. I used a cookie tin, see pic:
then I coloured the Christmas bonnet 1898 digi , I showed her to you before but here she's is again
Now the hardest part of altering the cookie tin is to fuzzy cut the image LOL. Now first some pics of the result and the I'll tell you what I did.

First I cut out a circle of designer paper that will fit the lid, I inked the edges with distress ink and put some ink on the rest of the paper to gve it an aged look.
The edge of the lid I covered with ribbon (using double sided tape).
Then I glued the digi on the paper circle.
The tin was covered by Tim Holtz paper saying: Valentines

hope you like how it turned out,

I will enter the following challenges:
